Macy's 29th Annual Fireworks Information:

Taking place on Monday, July 4, 2005

The Fireworks will be simultaneously set off from 3 locations.
The Fireworks generally take place at approximately 9:00-9:20 pm on
the East River:

Live Television Coverage on NBC will be broadcast beginning at 9:00pm
Note that it'll most likely begin at and around 9:30pm but don't hold
us to it.

It's best regardless to show up at your chosen viewing location ahead
of time.

Sites to see fireworks:

Lower Manhattan
below the South Street Seaport Area
the FDR Highway will be closed from the Ferry Terminal entrance to
Pearl Street Exit Ramp with
Pedestrian access to the FDR:
at the Pearl St. Ramp ONLY

Midtown Area
around 34th Street and beyond.
The FDR will be closed from 14th to 42nd Streets
from 7pm to 10pm
for prime viewing (southbound only)
between 14th and 42nd Streets
Pedestrian access to the FDR Southbound Lane
will be at: 23rd, 38th and 42nd Streets

Liberty State Park
Viewing of the Fireworks display here can only be seen from Liberty
State Park itself and it is advised that Battery Park in Lower
Manhattan is NOT a suggested viewing area.

The Fireworks can be seen from any point between 23rd St. to 42nd
Street within Manhattan (and within the downtown area around South
Street Seaport) with an unobstructed view as well as from Greenpoint,
Brooklyn, & Downtown Brooklyn or high rise apartments in relative
areas in Queens and Manhattan.

display will be playing on 1010 WINS Radio

Also, you can catch this event on Local TV Station NBC, Channel 4

As with all past years, no viewing is allowed from our East River
Bridges.
