L to R: Al B. Sure, KC, and Tevin Campbell.

Halloween comes early for these legends of R&B. Al B. Sure decided to go for the classic "I'm A Pimp" outfit. While KC just wears his vest and purple shirt from his day job at McDonalds. And Tevin Campbell decides he wants to look like Russell Simmions. Only thing missing is a tall asian drag queen on his arm.

Young Debarge speaks out against Janet Jackson
Listen to this article Listen to this article

Who is this Young Debarge? He just pops out of no where and tries to blow up Janet Jacksons spot by saying that she has a daughter by his brother James. I think he's just trying to promote his wack album. Anyway this Young Debarge was on the radio this morning with Miss Jones and he was talking about how Janet is not telling the truth and how she does have a daughter named Brandi. Then mama Debarge called in and said she supported her sons and that she was dropping a gospel record. Ummmmm....can you say PUBLICITY STUNT!

50 Cent Billboard banned.
Listen to this article Listen to this article

Now they never did really explain what was so bad about the 50 Cent movie billboard. "Thursday it was taking down some movie billboards near Los Angeles-area schools after community leaders complained they glorify gangs and violence." So humm...what about this billboard says gangs? I don't see any red or blue colors? And what is so violent about it?
I don't see anyone gettting shot. I don't see a depection of murder.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich sent a letter to distributor Paramount Pictures urging the billboards be yanked, starting with one outside a public school in Altadena, a suburb north of Los Angeles. "This billboard conveys to the students a disturbing message actively promoting gun violence, criminal behavior and gang affiliation, he wrote in the letter to Paramount Motion Pictures Group Chairman Brad Gray.
So whats the difference between that billboard and...

Nas and Jay-Z end long rap beef.
Listen to this article Listen to this article

Hov had something up his sleeve. So what better way to show that Hip-Hop has a positive message to give then to end the long term beef between himself and Nas. The stunned crowd of thousands at the Continental Airlines Arena screamed in approval as Jay and his former nemesis Nas appeared onstage together, signifying that two of rap's biggest names had finally deaded their beef for good. Jay-Z and Nas want to set an example for the rest of the Hip-Hop community and want all rappers to dead their beefs. But is this really a truce or a business move?
Nas has been slated to join the ranks of Def Jam for ages. But the deals never seem to manifest themselves. So now that Jay-Z is the President of Def Jam will he finally sign Nas to the lable? And Def Jam isn't doing that great or selling as many records as they did during their glory days and the addition of Nas would surely be a win/win situation for all parties involved.

Pull ovah honey! Al gets arrested
Listen to this article Listen to this article

Star Jones is not fucking with her husband these days. She is not a stand by your man gal like Whitney Houston. Al was arrested yesterday for driving with a suspended license on the Upper East Side. And the police said that Star didn't even show up to bail him out of trouble while he detained for more than 12 hours. Cops say the dapperly dressed former Wall Street trader was driving north on Third Avenue at East 71st Street when he changed lanes without signaling at 2:40 a.m. When officers pulled him over and ran his driver's license and plates through a police computer, they discovered his license had been suspended. What where you doing out so late without Star by your side? At 2:40 a.m. your ass should be home and in bed Mr. Jones.

The girls of DESTINY'S CHILD are splitting up on a generous note - they're hoping to rehouse 100 families left homeless by Hurricane Katrina in mobile homes by Christmas.
The temporary trailer park community set up for those relocated to the Houston Astrodome after the August storm lashed America's Gulf Coast will be named Destiny Village. They will deck the halls with cheer and christmas flowers.

It'll be the last thing the trio does as a group before they split next month

The Source vs. BET/Funk Master Flex
Listen to this article Listen to this article

Allhiphop.com reported yesderday that The Source has filed a $100 million dollar lawsuite against BET for not airing the 2005 Source (ghetto mess) Awards. The BET lawsuit was filed last Wednesday in New York Supreme Court and alleges that BET’s EVP and CFO Scott Mills (aka the Mac Daddy) and EVP, General Counsel and CAO yron Marchand conspired to keep The Source Awards off of the network, which is owned by Viacom. Umm that makes perfect sense when come to think of it. The Source Awards where a hot mess filled with drama and terrible performances. The production quality was very low and after watching it you always felt like it you where watching a train wreck waiting to happen.
"Representatives for BET didn't comment on the lawsuit at press time and were unaware of the looming litigation."

Yeah I'm not surprised as The Source is on it's last leg so they think they can sue everyone and save a failing magazine. What's your cirrculation numbers? What's your subscriber numbers? The facts will tell the truth.

The Source also plans to sue Funk Master Flex. Why we don't know...and really don't care. We just want to see The Source close down for good. Again all the writers who still haven't gotten paid from The Source need to file a class action law suit against them and get their money.

A picture has surfaced and people are asking if this girl is Janet Jacksons daughter.
She does favor the pop mega star and if this is really her daughter why had Janet
kept her in hiding for so long? But we all know that Janet is a MASTER at hiding things. She hid her marriage to Renee Elizono for 13 years! no one knew until 2000 when they filed for divorce that they where ever married.

Rosa Parks
Listen to this article Listen to this article

(CNN) -- Rosa Parks, who helped trigger the civil rights movement in the 1950s, died Monday, her longtime friends told CNN. She was 92.
Parks inspired the civil rights movement when she refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man in Montgomery, Alabama, in December 1955.
Her arrest triggered a 381-day boycott of the bus system by blacks that was organized by a young Baptist preacher, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and led to a court ruling desegregating public transportation in Montgomery.
Parks, a seamstress, facing regular threats and having lost her job, moved from Alabama to Michigan in 1957.
She joined the staff of U.S. Rep. John Conyers, a Michigan Democrat, in 1965, championing civil liberties. Parks later earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom and Congressional Gold Medal.
Conyers, who first met Parks during the early days of the civil rights struggle, said Parks died in Detroit Monday evening.
"I think that she, as the mother of the new civil rights movement, has left an impact not just on the nation, but on the world," he told CNN in a telephone interview. "She was a real apostle of the non-violence movement."
Conyers said Parks worked on his original congressional staff when he first was elected to the House of Representatives in 1964.
He remembered her as someone who never raised her voice -- an eloquent voice of the civil rights movement.
"You treated her with deference because she was so quiet, so serene -- just a very special person," he said, adding that "there was only one" Rosa Parks.
Gregory Reed, a longtime friend and attorney, said Parks died between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. of natural causes. He called Parks "a lady of great courage."
Parks was the subject of the documentary "Mighty Times: The Legacy of Rosa Parks," which received a 2002 Oscar nomination for best documentary short.
In April, Parks and rap duo OutKast settled a lawsuit over the use of her name on a CD released in 1998.

Rapper Cam'ron shot in DC!
Listen to this article Listen to this article

Superstar rapper Camron was shot three times in Washington, DC this morning (Oct. 23) sources have revealed to AllHipHop.com.

The Harlem, New York native was leaving club H20 en-route to Love (formerly Dream) when three unknown gunmen approached the rapper.

While details are sketchy, eyewitnesses said the men were seeking the rapper’s pricey Lamborghini, which he was driving while in town for a performance over the weekend.

They were after that car, an eyewitness told AllHipHop.com. Cam refused to give it up and attempted to drive away and they shot up the car.

Camron was struck three times and while officials have not released his actual status, sources said at least one bullet struck the rapper in the arm.

His injures are allegedly not life threatening and the rapper was treated at Howard University Hospital.

Juelz, Jim [Jones] and other Dip-Set members are with him at the hospital right now, the source said.

Cam’ron, CEO of Diplomat Records, has been driving the blue Lamborghini since at least June of 2005.

I bought the Lamborghini especially for New York, Camron told a 106 & Park audience prior to being arrested. Because we figure that we can only see stuff like this in Miami, but I am bringing it to the streets of New York.

In July, police in Harlem stopped the rapper and arrested him while driving the Italian sports car for driving with a suspended license.

Officials at Howard University Hospital declined comment and police did not comment at press time.
