Celebrate National Ice Cream Day
Listen to this article Listen to this article

W.O.W! (Words On Wednesday) tomorrow, Wednesday, June 8th. In honor of National Ice Cream Day we'll be celebrating at the Downeast Arts Center, with poetry, comedy, skits, monologues, music, mystery-ice cream tasting, and quizzes with ice cream prizes at stake.

Anyone is welcome to perform or read, whether the material is ice-cream related or not, and we'll have some audience participation stuff on hand for anyone who feels like getting in on the fun but didn't bring anything to perform.

So come on down to the Downeast Arts Center for Words On Wednesday, this Wednesday, June 8th at 203 Avenue A, between 12th and 13th Streets, in New York City.

The Show is from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, but you can arrive anytime and leave anytime throughout.

There's no cover charge/no minimum. Just a suggested donation of $5 or just pay-as-you can. There's free coffe and snacks even.

For more information: 212-242-6036 (office); 212-228-2886 (theatre)

Have an Ice (cream) Day!
